Feel of the Day.103

booo yaaaaa exams is over! :D Not only that, this marks the end of my preclinical year for MD! Which means no more uni (at campus) for lyfe! (besides the odd OSCE examinations). It's all happening at the hospital from now onwards. It's been a long year, it really has, 36 weeks of classes; 342 lects; 72 hours of PCP classes and more haha I don't think i've ever been pushed so close to the limit before. It truly is a  unique experience and now in a blink of an eye, it seems like it ended too quickly. It seemed like it was only yesterday when we were lining up outside the med building waiting to attend our first MD lect ever, but now that's all but a scent of a memory.

Personally, i've been through so much this year, both in my studies and in my own personal life. Just read my previous posts this yr, though much of them were written in code, sooo yeaaa haha

There has been tough moments when i wish i could just disappear, and most of them has got to do with the "roots" (im sorry im coding again haha). And once again, even after exams, im being rooted again. When everyone else is laughing their sweet asses off, i'm here being rooted like shit.

mehhhh it's my life after all. What can i do but face it face on. I am so tired. so so tired. not just physically (my sleep bank is hugeee, if i were to be given $1 for every hour sleep i missed [based on the 8hr/day guide], i think i can end poverty lols okay maybe i exaggerated a wee bit, but yeaaa) but also mentally, emotionally and blablabla.

Am i delusional? Why does things have to be the way they are? Why can't apple trees grow mangoes too? (lovin' the mango season btw woooo) Maybe the apple tree wants a taste of that sweet sweet mango juice, maybe; just maybe.

Well, that got emo. haha but having said that, i did enjoy myself this year. I've learnt so so so much, and have been inspired by numerous medical specialists to continue to pursue a career in medical sciences, in the hope that one day i may be able to help another in need via that knowledge and technology; and maybe even continue the "germline" (so to speak) and impart knowledge in the minds of future medical students:) who knows! :P

But yeaaa, i am thankful for this year. I've made new relationships that have made my life more interesting, and in particular one relationship, i am so glad that i took the step:) Sure there's uncertainties and barriers to get through (ROOOTS o.0), but hey, even a sweet sweet mango has its sour spot (the one near the seed if u know what i mean haha), so yaaa :) Just wana say (or think rather haha) that i am thankful:)

Anywayss, i deserve to enjoy the break and i am planning to! :) A friend of mine mentioned something the other day that really got me thinking and i just wana end this post with that quote:

"Be somebody that makes you happy"
